I moved out of my college apartment last week and thankfully had one full week at home before packing my bags for California. I leave Tuesday and while I’m so excited, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. It’s been so nice getting to rest + regroup this week. I got to see a few friends from high school, spend some time with the fam, and even relax a little—crazy, I know! Sharing a peek into my mellow week…

Sunday, May 15
Had a slow morning getting my Sunday posts live and walking with the fam. One of my sweet high school friends, GB, and I went down to Georgetown for the evening. We explored a little and ate dinner right on the water—it was so good to catch up!

Monday, May 16
After a fun-filled weekend, today was all about playing catch up. I spent some time filming Tik Toks and listed tons of shoes on my Poshmark account (@styledbymckenz). I edited and uploaded a YouTube video and sifted through dozens of emails. The rest of my day was spent purging my closet for this weekend’s sale!

Tuesday, May 17
Off to run a few errands this morning—I picked up a few necessities from Target, grabbed a couple of new books from Barnes & Noble, and shipped out some Poshmark orders. I shot a sponsored post and then stopped by the baseball field for a bit. Spent the evening with my friend Lily catching up + eating my first Crumble cookies!

Wednesday, May 18
Moving prep has begun— I packed a few last things before shipping my car off to California! I spent the rest of the afternoon shooting some content for Express and Altard State. I took the afternoon easy curling up to read my new book, Where The Crawdads Sing.

Thursday, May 19
Started the morning at Starbucks with another high school friend Kylie. We spent hours chatting before finally going home to tan + read on the deck. It was one of the most relaxing afternoons I’ve had in weeks. I spent the evening writing a blog post + grabbing Jimmie Cone of course!

Friday, May 20
Off to the hair salon, this morning to get my hair touched up then to Rio for lunch with Mrs. Wentzlaff. We ate at True Food and spent hours catching up—I’m so glad it’s a tradition we’ve stuck with throughout my college years. I spent the afternoon setting up for my closet sale tomorrow then went to dinner with the fam.

Saturday, May 21
My closet sale began at ten o’clock this morning. By four pm all but a few boxes had sold. I’m so grateful I was able to get rid of so much before my move to California! I always love sale days as I’m able to meet so many sweet followers + catch up with familiar faces from town. Now time to get packing!
