I recently had the pleasure of being introduced to the wide selection of Petites available at White House Black Market. I’m not unfamiliar with WHBM, but it’s been several years since I visited them and I wasn’t aware that they offered petite sizing. I tried several pieces from their petite collection and found that not only do they have a lot to offer, but the sizing options are also vast! Their sizing starts at 00/XXS Petite. Their denim comes in petite sizing, but their regular denim also comes in several length options, and I found that their short length fits me well.
My sizing: I’m 4’10” and around 105lbs. I found that my best size at WHBM is Petite 0 or Regular XXS, but I’ll share what size I’m wearing in each item below.
WHBM Petite-Friendly Finds
High-Rise Flare Jeans
I’ve tried many pairs of flare jeans and have yet to find a pair that isn’t too long for me, even in heels, until now. I tried these jeans in both Petite 0 and Regular 00 Short and found that both fit me the same. The exact pair I’m wearing is regular sizing in 00 short. At WHBM I found that petite and short jeans are both the same length, but the petite sizing runs smaller overall, so if you’re a 00 in regular sizing, you’ll be a 0 in petite sizing. I chose a white pair, but they also come in dark denim that would be beautiful for fall with a pair of pointed-toe boots! I do need heels with the length, but personally, I prefer the look of heels with flare jeans in general.

Tweed Blazer and Lace Top
I only tried one blazer from their Petite collection, but I loved the fit! The sleeves are a great length for me and the shoulders aren’t too wide. The style I chose has a longer modern length and it’s machine-washable, which I think is a big plus for a blazer. The lace top I’m wearing underneath is beautiful layered and also on its own. The Petite 0 hits me right at my hip, making it great to tuck in for work looks.

Petite-Friendly Dresses
I tried two dresses and they both fit me so well in Petite 0. If you’re a little bit smaller than me, there is also a Petite 00 option. They’re both beautifully made and fully lined with twirly skirts – a personal favorite of mine. I could see both dresses at the office, but I could also see them at a fall wedding.

Mid-Rise Bootcut Jeans
For my friends who prefer mid-rise, you’re going to love these jeans. The sizing is the same as the flare jeans above and I’m wearing them in Petite 0. They’re a little too long to be worn with flat shoes on me, but if you’re a little bit taller, they would work well for you. The flutter sleeve t-shirt I’m wearing also comes in petite, which makes for a v-neck that isn’t too low and armholes that don’t drape too far down! Another plus, this white top isn’t see-through.

Straight-Jeans
I kept the same top and shoes from the outfit above and just swapped out the jeans to show you another style. This pair is a straight crop and the length is perfect in 00 short. I like to branch out and try other denim styles like flares and bootcut, but I’m still the most comfortable in skinny jeans or straight-cut jeans.

I’ll definitely be taking a look at WHBM more often now that I know what they have to offer Petites! Overall, my favorite finds were the dresses and jeans. I appreciate that I’m not the smallest size possible at WHBM, so for my friends out there who are even smaller than me, there are some options for you at WHBM!
